My grandmother needed to go to a skilled nursing facility from the hospital. She was scared and we wanted to ensure that she was well taken care of, so we arranged for caregivers there. I wanted to offer my recommendation for Always Best Care - Potomac. My mother has severe dementia and I have dealt with over 10 different agencies and over 40 caregivers in the past five years. This agency is, bar none, the best and most responsive I have EVER dealt with. They have built a wonderful team of loving, hardworking caregivers for mom, and that is hard to do. They work very hard to make sure your needs are met. Special Bonus: the president, Robin, is a virtual clearing house of information regarding eldercare. They truly want to help!

My 97 year old husband on Hospice was cared for by his namesake, another Benjamin who was with him daily from 8AM to 8PM. Not only did Benjamin help me survive (I am almost 97 too), but he was so kind, gentle and careful about all that he did. When my husband saw him in the morning, he actually managed a tiny smile. In addition to direct care for his patient, he washed dishes, dusted and vacuumed!! There were also two night shift aides, Emanuel and Bismarck. Each came only once but they were equally competent. Without Robin Henoch and ABC? I don't even want to think about it.
